JOHNJAY AND RICH TALK TO THE INTERNS:
RICH:
Let's tape some stuff. This could be fun.
JOHNJAY:

RICH:
The interns.
I want to talk the intern who's friends were held hostage at a night club. That's got to be great radio.
JOHNJAY:
Since when do "we" have interns?
PRODUCER BILL:
Three years now, actually.
JOHNJAY:
Right. You guys are so clever. ( laughs at himself). INTERNS. That's rich.
RICH:
I thought I didn't pay attention. You really don't pay attention!
PRODUCER BILL:
I disagree. Johnjay is one of the most observant people I know.
RICH:
Okay. Let's test your theory out. Hey Johnjay.. name any other morning show in this building.
JOHNJAY:
Tim and Willy.
RICH:
They left the show Seven years ago.
JOHNJAY
NO WAY! They just hosted our Christmas Party.
RICH:
That was in Tucson in 2003. Wow
JOHNJAY:
Dude. I know every crack and everyone in this crack of a building.
RICH:
No question. Let me tell you about our interns and refresh your memory.
They are in here every day. In fact, Alex was just helping you change your profile picture on your Facebook. Which he should be let go for because you look ridiculous.
JOHNJAY:
That's not an intern. That was the Alex from promotions. and.. that picture is spectacular.. My face isn't as red in that one.
RICH:
What's up with your red face?
JOHNJAY:
Juice.
RICH:
I drink my green juice every day. NO red face.
JOHNJAY:
Nope. You look yellow now. Like a jaundice patient.
RICH:
Thank you. You look red.. like you're grunting' one out.
JOHNJAY:
Thank you.
PRODUCER BILL:
Shall I tell you about your interns? Intern Alex
RICH:
Alex.. who worked in promotions.. Has been gone for 2 years. This Alex.. Intern Alex.. has been here for two semesters now and he's an intern.
And.. for the record.. ALEX .. in promotions had a beard and long hair. This Alex.. I feel.. could never grow facial hair.
JOHNJAY:
That is impossible.
INTERN ALEX:
You guys know I'm right here? Right?
JOHNJAY:
How come I gave an intern.. or a promotions guy all the passwords to my Facebook?
RICH:
I am not sure what you were thinking there.
JOHNJAY:
This Alex fellow seems a chameleon.
RICH:
and.. now I get it.. Do you think everyone named Alex is in promotions?
JOHNJAY:
I do.
RICH:
What about Sara? She just set up the camera for our channel 3 hit.
JOHNJAY:
She's in sales. Channel 3 is her account.
RICH:
Nope. INTERN. a good one.. but an intern.
JOHNJAY:
Well. I see these people running around here all the time.. Are you telling me they aren't contest winners?
RICH:
In a way.. maybe.. In another way.. totally.. not winners.
JOHNJAY:
Is that a new shirt?
RICH:
This one. Nope. I wore it last week.
JOHNJAY:
Did i hate it as much then as I do now?
RICH:
Wow!
OKAY. Can we start taping the interns now?
JOHNJAY:

Uhm.. RADIO.... Sara's friends. They were held hostage in a night club?
